Businesses with 50 or fewer employees added 93,000 U.S. jobs in June, the Associated Press reports.
That number is a spike from the 67,000 jobs that were added in May and the 57,000 gained in April, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The unemployment rate remained at 8.2 percent, up from 8.1 percent in April 2012. However, the increase of small business jobs may be a sign that business owners are beginning to feel more confident about sales.
